About Us
Minetti Custom Keyboards, MCK, is a family owned business created by father and son Rino and Luciano Minetti. As professional pianists, we recognized the need for an ultra-portable, travel friendly, and fully weighted keyboard. We have developed custom keyboards that are smaller, lighter, and more portable for the traveling musician.
The journey began in November of 2016, when we disassembled our own Yamaha P-115 in search of a means to make the keyboard smaller, lighter, and more travel friendly. After much research and development, we created our first prototype keyboard of 79-Keys. While our first test unit was a proof of concept at 79 keys, we wanted to push the size reduction further and create a 61 key version without loosing any functionality. After months of research and development, we are now able to customize a keyboard to almost any size imaginable.
The keyboards we modify not only become more portable, but they also take on a unique look with the custom wood side panels we hand cut.
